Our Story : The Journey Behind Tutu-Me
It took him back to his childhood summers in Kerala — days filled with cricket, sunshine, and endless munching. His grandmother and great-grandmother kept the kitchen stocked with golden banana and jackfruit chips, fried fresh at home. He’d play a round, run in sweaty, grab a handful, and repeat. Life was simple, crunchy, and delicious.
So when it came to Tutu, Sid thought: why shouldn’t she have that too? That’s when the whole family stepped in. Three generations — Sid, his parents, and his grandmother — began right at their ancestral home, handpicking the best bananas and coconut oil for chips. From there, they worked closely with local natives across Kerala to ensure only the finest ingredients made it in. Meanwhile, Sid’s mother Latha (fondly called as Paati by Tutu) brought her 40+ years of cooking wisdom to the kitchen. With over 200,000 dosas flipped in her lifetime, her expertise shaped every chip, masala, and premix we sell today.
What started as a batch just for Tutu and her Appa quickly won over friends and family — and that’s how Tutu-Me! was born.
In fact, Latha had already founded South 2 Mouth in 2020, building a loyal base for her masalas and premixes. But because Tutu is our North Star, even those products are now gradually being brought under the Tutu-Me! umbrella. Today, our family’s cultural mix inspires everything we do. It’s why our Kerala Nendran banana chips come not just in their classic form, but also in flavors as diverse as Schezwan, Green Pepper, Tomato, Peri Peri, and North Indian–inspired Achari.

Tutu
Latha is where Tutu-Me! begins. Our chips, masalas, and premixes come from her recipes—refined over decades and prepared the way she believes food should be made. In her lifetime, she has cooked over 2,50,000 dosas, a quiet measure of experience you can taste. She handpicks ingredients, roasts spices to perfection, and prepares premixes in pure ghee, personally overseeing every detail. What started in her kitchen now defines Tutu-Me!’s standards—honest, tasty, and deeply rooted.

Giridhar
Giridhar is Tutu-Me!’s steady foundation. Tutu’s Tatha (Grandpa) and Sid’s Appa, works firmly behind the scenes, preferring substance over spotlight.
From finance and accounting to taxation, compliance, and distributor coordination across India, he ensures the business runs with discipline and integrity. You might not see him much on Instagram reels—but every decision, system, and safeguard that keeps Tutu-Me! standing strong carries his imprint. Calm, consistent, and dependable, he is the backbone on which the brand is being built.

Prapti
Prapti is Tutu-Me!’s official taste authority—and its cultural counterbalance. As the only non-South Indian among the co-founders, she keeps regional bias in check and brings fresh perspectives to every formulation.
Many of Tutu-Me!’s most distinctive flavours—like Achari Nendran Banana Chips—are born from her instinct for bold, cross-cultural taste combinations. Nothing makes it to market without her approval. True to her bubbly, social nature, she also plays a key role in shaping Tutu-Me!’s social media presence, turning ideas, flavours, and moments into stories people love.

Siddharth
Siddharth, started Tutu-Me! out of necessity and with a deep urge to introduce something in the market that is honest, clean, and traditionally rooted. What began as South to Mouth evolved when Tutu’s snacking habits made him question what children (and families) were really eating. The result was a brand built on food he would confidently serve his own child.
